NCE manages global installation projects with Seegra
NCE carries out installation projects at customer sites around the world, often with around 50 people working in the field at the same time. As the installation business grew, managing planning and time tracking across Microsoft Project, Excel and paper became increasingly difficult. NCE needed a simpler, more scalable way of working. NCE, Nordpipe Composite Engineering, is part of Instalco and supplies composite solutions to industries including metals, energy, chemicals and marine. The company has around 150 employees and production facilities in Pietarsaari and Imatra, while installation projects are carried out at customer sites across the globe.
Previously, installation work was planned in Microsoft Project, while working hours were recorded manually in Excel and on paper. As the business grew, this became increasingly cumbersome, particularly with multiple projects and teams spread across different countries and time zones.
NCE needed a solution that could bring planning and time tracking together while remaining flexible enough to evolve with the business.
